Finally, after years of hard work, I finished my Master of Information Systems degree, and unexpectedly a part of the Dean’s List of the graduating class.
2020 is an interesting time to graduate. This year caused a lot of disruption in our daily lives. People have been forced to study and work from home because of the pandemic. Some lost their jobs or can’t continue their studies. Everyone is probably struggling in some way or another, whether it is to survive or face the challenges brought upon by this new normal.
I am blessed to graduate this year, but I will not be here today if not for all my teachers, mentors, and friends who supported me throughout this journey. I deeply thank them for all the help and encouragement they provided me, which constantly motivated me to never give up, continue facing the trials of this program, and see it until the end.
I entered the program not knowing what I wanted to do, but eventually, I learned to embrace this feeling and be comfortable facing the unknown. That’s where we learn and grow. Furthermore, through this program, I also discovered that I liked learning; and with this, I will keep nurturing my knowledge and continue the journey of discovery.
